Permit & Construction Process

An overview of the tentative permitting and construction process. Galehead plans to submit their Special Use Permit applications to Morgan County by quarter four (Q4) of 2023. The Special Use Permit applications public hearing are anticipated to occur in Q1 (January – March) of 2024. The detailed Project engineering and design plans for the Project will likely be completed by Q4 (October – December) of 2024. Construction for the Project is estimated to begin in Q2 of 2025. The commercial start operation date for the solar Project will be in Q4 of 2026. All dates are tentative.
