South Park BESS Project Overview 

BESS

The Project includes the construction and operation of a battery energy storage system (BESS) facility. The Project would utilize approximately 20 acres of the parcel (Project area, Figure 1) to host the BESS containers, a Project substation, storage containers, and an office trailer. A proposed approximately 0.33 miles long transmission line would be installed to the east of the Project connecting the proposed Project substation to the existing Hartsel Substation.
