Permit and Construction Process

An overview of the tentative permitting and construction process. RWE plans to submit their Special Use Permit application to Routt County by Q2 of 2024. The Special Use Permit application public hearing will be held in Q3 of 2024. The preconstruction biological surveys will take place from Q3 of 2025 through Q2 of 2026. The detailed Project engineering and design will occur in Q4 of 2026. Construction will begin in Q3 of 2026 and be completed in Q4 of 2027. The estimated in-service date will be in Q4 of 2027. All dates are tentative.
