Wildfire Protection Plan

Innovative and Holistic Approach for the Temecula Creek Project

SWCA proposes a strategic and comprehensive approach to the development of an integrated Community Wildfire Prevention Plan and CWPP. While our CWPP approach is in accordance with the Healthy Forests Restoration Act and the National Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy, it offers a unique and tailor-made plan. The fire environment is ever dynamic – the plan would have a format that is adaptable to different areas in the City and as conditions and needs change over time. SWCA’s interdisciplinary team would work seamlessly together with the City to provide a holistic solution to the problem. The development of Story Maps and easy-to-read matrices are just two of our CWPP features that allow flexibility in the plan.
